6000 organised Citizens gather for the London Mayoral Assembly

Thursday 28th April shall see the biggest event of the London Mayoral Campaign, when over 6000 people from London Citizens member institutions gather at the Copper Box Arena to present their key issues to the two front running campaign. Alongside asks on employment opportunities, the Living Wage and resettlement, the event shall focus on the London Citizens Housing Manifesto 2016.

Faith institutions are also encouraged to join the various faith gatherings which will take place as part of the action on April 28th.

4pm-5pm: CHRISTIAN SERVICE at St John's Stratford, The Broadway, London E15 1NG

Celebrated by Bishop Peter Hill, Bishop of Barking
Followed by "Walk of Witness" to the Copper Box

4.30pm-5.30pm: CATHOLIC MASS at St Francis RC Church Stratford, Grove Crescent Road, London E15 1NS

Celebrated by Bishop Alan Williams, Bishop of Brentwood
Followed by "Walk of Witness" to the Copper Box

6pm-6.20pm: QUAKER FRIENDS Meet for Silent Prayer – Near the Copper Box

9pm – 9.10pm: MUSLIM PRAYERS – Copper Box Arena

Prayers will take place in one end of the Field of Play at the end of the assembly. Those taking part are kindly requested to remain seated until the arena has been officially cleared before moving to the designated area

9.10pm – 9.40pm: JEWISH SERVICE – Copper Box Arena

The service will take place on the opposite side of the Field of Play in the Arena.
