Women100 Training in Tower Hamlets

Community organising training for women in our member organisations. The aim is to develop women leaders in each institution and increase women’s participation in the decision-making process in their local community.

Through this training women learn methods and acquire tools to make change in their communities e.g. school, college, university, charity, faith group or community group. We want to make this training accessible for all women, therefore we have different formats for each training. In the winter we deliver 4 evening sessions so women can attend after work, and in the summer, we deliver 2 Saturday sessions with childcare provision for parents. Both formats cover the essential topics of leadership, negotiation, power, storytelling, building public relationships, listening and action.

Women from the training organised International Women’s Day for Women in Tower Hamlets and are currently organising a campaign to Back Up the Veil in school in Tower Hamlets.
